This site is about the Christian practice of voluntarily giving money to God's work. Author of this site is strongly in favor of tithing and encourages Christians to give even more than that.

I see that all giving to Christian purposes is good and brings blessing. If you give less than 10%, good, do so but aim to give more in the future. If you give 10% or more, that's even better, may you be richly blessed.

This is a positive tithing site. Question "do Christians have to tithe" misses the whole point. The relevant question is "will God bless me (financially or otherwise) when I tithe". The answer is - and this is the point - "yes".

I have included a list of sorted tithing links in English. I know I don't have all of them there. Last time I checked, Google gave me 650.000+ references to "tithing" but I'm working on it.

My name is Mr. Esko Sarkkala. I'm married to Marjut and I have four childen and two grandchildren. I have a M.Sc. in Engineering and a M.A. in Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I work as a senior software engineer in a software company in Helsinki, Finland.

I hope this site will motivate Finnish Christians to give more, even to tithe. With the help of viewers' feedback I'm also working further towards developing the contents of this site into a book.
